• An Honours Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting Or An Honours Bachelor’s degree with a bias in accounting/Finance option Or a Bachelor of Microfinance obtained from a recognized awarding institution Or Full professional qualification in Accountancy obtained from a recognized awarding Institution accredited by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU). • A postgraduate qualification with a bias in Business Administration or Management or Monitoring and Evaluation obtained from a recognized awarding Institution. • Experience: • A minimum of Four (4) years of proven experience in financial management, • Other requirements: • Strong knowledge of ICT • Conversant with rural community development • Report writing skills •Good communication skills in English and Local Language

The job is field based and will require the incumbent to travel to designated administrative units across the country. The vacancies are on contract terms: two (2) year renewable by mutual agreement upon successful completion. The successful candidates will be responsible for developing strategies for efficient management of SACCOs and microfinance operations.
